The start-up package was designed to help organizations quickly and effectively maximize the value of their investments by providing assistance for the initial BusinessObjects or WebIntelligence implementation. This package includes a support staff, the creation of a working universe, customized reports, and user training.
Approach
Start-up training is ideal for a customer with no prior BusinessObjects or WebIntelligence experience. Our on-site consultants guide customers through the start-up and delivery phase of a working system. The consultants can get a system up and running in a short period of time, and train end users as well as the designer and system administrator.
At the completion of a start-up package, the customer will have a working system that consists of at least 25 objects and between three to six working reports. The start-up package enables customers to confidently use, support, and enhance the system well into the future.
Package Contents
A complete start-up package contains:
- Five days of on-site consulting including software installation and configuration
- One place in a five day IT implementation stream course which includes:
- Eight places for end users at a two day, on-site education course which includes:
- An evolution plan documenting the next steps needed to take the initial implementation forward
1. One day BusinessObjects fundamentals course
2. Three day BusinessObjects Designer course
3. One day Supervisor course
1. Day one - introduction to reporting
2. Day two - report creation and analysis

Prerequisites
